A few days after being rejected by Pharmabeta, Robin Thornton tells you he has spent most of the morning with the director of overseas sales. The director was seriously questioning some of his recent decisions. Thornton says he got the impression that you had criticised him and asks if this is true.

You know he must be referring to your comments on his 'inexperience' when the director asked for your opinion. So what do you reply?

 
  A 'The director asked me what I thought of you in your present job and I suggested you had too little experience to take on the Pharmabeta post. You know, Robin, you've made several costly mistakes here already and I find myself trying to put things right behind the scenes.'
