Richard Morgan is dismissed for refusing to do the job he is employed to do, which includes meetings and outside sales work. The union take his case to an industrial tribunal and your company loses its case against Morgan. The tribunal orders the company to pay him compensation for unfair dismissal. That is the end of this way through the maze. It was not an inevitable conclusion to the situation and you may like to return to 1 and re-think your actions.
